HD textures for SP-maps!

and for a good reason, a lot of textures from episode3 are awesome

I hope you continue to work on remaining textures of Someting Wicked, that masterpiece deserve to be HDfied completely, it's too awesome.

I've almost completed another texture pack, for Dawn of Eternity by Necros: my ALL TIME favourite maps, undecided for ther replacement of the following textures. Any tips?

you can find many great free-to-use textures made by artists on DA

both are just generic rock-textures, so shouldnt be to picky on those imo.
as long as the texture you use for it is for a similar type of rock and is fitting.


the second result on the page i posted looks like it would be pretty much perfect for the unreal_rock


and this one looks it would great for unr_rockgrey with some tinting and adjusting of brightness Seamless rock 10 by LucieG-Stock on DeviantArt

Beautiful! The skull inside the pentagram is very used in many maps too!

aye aye, a couple textures used in drake also use a very similar skull but without the horns

ive also used different version of the same skull but WITH jaw for the skull-switches in CotS


its a great skull that can be used for many applications,
and the pack includes vectors of the skull from multiple angles

I'll upload the updated texture pack for Love of Evil very soon. I'm doing HD texture pack for Solarfall and Adamantine Cruelty since they are easy to do and both are great maps.

just finished creating sdavwe6 and the window-textures of the same set a bit ago


this set of matching textures is a set thats used a loooooooot all over something wicked,
so having this set finished does a lot for the visuals and instantly makes the entire map appear a lot more HD

.

i also did the carch texture, which is used a couple times throughout the map

its obviously not the same gargoyle.... but hey, im no texture-artist.
re-drawing the original gargoyle is not something i am capable of doing,
so i opted to instead use a similar-ish gargoyle that i felt was fitting

.

anywho, having sdavwe6 and the matching window-textures done does a looot
for the map in terms of looking HD cuz of how much the set of textures is used,

so...... time for another update!


this time itll be a full pack again instead of an addon update.

there are a couple more textures done like bricks1, fuckingevil and lbrka1_2,
the latter also being used a looooot in the start-map and the main map

Talisa have you seen Thief The Dark Project HD textures mod? In my opinion many of the textures in the pack can be useful, you don't need to have Thief installed

Textures are very big, but since Thief the Dark Project is a medieval themed game, they can be useful (I think) in some Quake releases
