RMQ has moved to icculus.org. We now use a forum for development. There is a public part of that forum where you can come and talk directly to the team in their own house, basically.

Sometimes I browse gb's blog and so on to find out what new is done with RMQ project, so yesterday I followed this The Realm of Blog Magic link and what have I seen? Helicopter with coaxial rotor system which looks closely to Kamov Ka-52! My cousin served in the destroyer, which has the deck for another Kamov helicopter - Ka-31. He was very surprised to see russian (and well known for him) helicopter in such unexpected place

The KA-50 helicopter was actually suggested by Supa (RMQ QC lead) one night on IRC. Presumably because it looks "sci-fi" to Western eyes.

Very nice helicopter (ignoring the fact it kills people, which is not so nice).

Anyway, there is a new singleplayer demo in the works for a release around Xmas with maps by Ijed (Warpspasm) and probably RickyT23 and/or RJ Thorne.

Yes, there should be a demo shortly with several single player maps.

According to ijed from the RMQ forum, RMQ Demo 3 is coming THIS weekend. Four new levels will be included, it seems.

Actually it seems to be the only good thing in upcoming weekend, cause that's the end of my holidays

Keep an eye on ijed's fileshare today since he wrote he would upload the new demo yesterday. However, it didn't work, so I guess he will try again today.

Name of the file will be "remakequake_winter_2011.zip" once it's successfully uploaded. Of course, you can also wait for the announcement at The Realm of Blog Magic, but maybe you are as impatient as me.

File is online now (772 MB!), but you need a 4shared account in order to download it from the site directly. Maybe still wait until it's available officially.

I've just downloaded the demo from 4shared. (Thank you for uploading. )

But unfortunately I couldn't get it to work. When starting I get a 0xc000007b error that the application can't be correctly started.

I do have Windows-64 bit, but the application seems 32-bit?

Players: please wait for new and MUCH smaller download. The one that was linked earlier is broken and has lots of unnecessary dev cruft in it. It was only meant for internal testing.
