Hmm, I do not know where to write, so I will write in this thread... As promised, here's a screenshot of Skrag highpoly model. Made in Zbrush. I have absolutely no knowledge of animation, and I do not have time for this. If there is anyone who wants to continue this work, please send me a PM or write here.

agree with tea monster and gdiddy, that scrag looks amazing
just dunno about the mouth, scrag shouldnt have any kind of mouth i think.
but that model looks totally amazing, id still love to have it in quake <3

Man, you guys inspire me to want to waste all of my time never making anything this good.
My first model was a completely rigged and animated frog. It was actually pretty good but NOWHERE near as dramatic as these models. It was about as involved as tea Monsters hammer-gun (probably about as many polys too).

Art is not a totalitarian endeavor. Quite the opposite.
I could see if these were warped, out of proportion models and the opinion was something like "arms are too long", but these guys are Elite. You aren't pointing out real errors, you are claiming their artistic freedom is an error "in your opinion". Where's your awesome model? Yeah, I don't have one either. yeah im a nitpicky person, i care about small details.
and i didnt say it was a bad thing at all, i just meant that imo idea a scrag wouldnt have a mouth. thats what i think makes the scrag so interesting, and it was typical for lovecraftian creatures, to have no mouth and such which made you wonder what kind of creatures they were cuz they seemed to have things which seemed weird and illogical to us, or seemed to miss things that we felt was normal for every kind of creature.
these things add that strange bizarre out-of-this-world feeling to his creatures. slapping a mouth on would derive from that idea, and its so overly cliche that everything evil should have a bit mouth full of sharp teeth in horror.
again, i didnt say its 'an error' or such at all as you say, i never said anything like that, i just said in my opinion it shouldnt have one. i like how the monsters were originally imagined for the most part. i dont mind some small modifications.
i even said i think it looks pretty darn cool.
beside, what is wrong with constructive commentary?
just a 'wow this is awesome' all the time is nice for the makers, but if i see something that i feel could use improvement or such, ill say it. you help the maker with constructive comments.
but again, yes i am nitpicky and i care a lot about small details on stuff.
beside, i only hear you complaining, i didnt hear any of the creators that i gave constructive commentary on their creators ever complain. the opposite even, they're always happy with commentary. and my comments are never negative.
look at my posts, 99% of the time dont just say what i think isnt good but also point out how i think it could be improved, or come with an alternative or come with ideas on what could be changed to make it look better
