New DM server?

Like I have time to argue with you idiots on the forums.
My post was simply to correct an inaccurate statement.
@Baker's offense: Rage has been a successful server because 1. R00k made a sweet mod, with help from Bam. 2. vis/hdz agreed to host it on behalf of quakeone.com, 3. I sat on it every night for 4 months trying to get people to play.

Phenom you had taken down and put back up bomber.ironrocket.com a couple times and were generally fucking around, and only you and mindz and bryant played on it, everyone else was playing nailed. I said "hey just take it down we can rename ca.quakeone.com and I'll give you admin...". After you complained about this the first time I renamed it to rage and told you you could have the super sweet name "bomber" back if you wanted.

You've been banned from rage about 5 times before by vis for being an asshole, disturbing the game, etc. I removed you all previous times. The only reason you connect to rage now is if there isn't a game on dredd you come to rage to try to ruin the game by joining and only running around with axe etc. So I banned you.

And btw Phenom stop pm'ing me telling me how much I suck cause one of the rage admins mute/kicked/banned you for being a fuck, or that you pulled my dredd admin, etc. I don't care, I'm simply trying my best to ignore you.

Uh.. Yellow, I've seen CRMOD players join Rage and say "CRMOD ANYONE" constantly. why are you actn like a immature kid?

and I only PM'd you once then I sent you another PM telling you that your lack of supporting anything but Rage(vis's/ava's/Quakeone.com's) server had braught me to the conclusion that you have no desire to play at Dredd there for why let you assume another admin position if you are just going to suck at it?

Yellow why was I banned when I wasn't even on the Rage server and don't tell me you DIDN'T ban me because you are the only person at Rage that has a real problem with me.

I'll stop telling you how much you suck when you stop being an admin.

P.S since you think you are such a good admin lets see this proof of me messing up a complete game at Rage. I'm sure you got logs right? possibly even demos? post them show everyone how I act.

An admin knows when to be an admin and knows when not to. also an admin knows not to include their own personal vendetta into what really matters. You fail on all of this.

Bomber @ IronRocket was doomed the second that Phenom posted in QuakeOne forums saying "Bomber is going offline." Then he changed his mind.

You can't do that to a new server. Announcing the server is dead is almost without except the end of any server without a huge established player base.

What made Bomber eventually into a successful server after it moved to HDz, which guaranteed essentially a permanent and assured existence, was that everyone with the mindset that Clan Arena would be so much better with a fresh new mod with modern features promoted it.

Lately, it seems like "everyone coming together" thing which had worked so well once upon a time doesn't seem to be happening much with some different people, as far as I can tell.

Infighting is always really dumb and everyone who participates in it is making some bad decisions. Human drama is artificially created problem that is a waste of time.

Sometimes people just have to agree to disagree.

Baker, I respect your words to a point. I'm not disagree'ing with Yellow I'm showing him how bad of an admin he is.


But to Yellow,
A true admin would look at the issue from a 3rd party standpoint, as not to include his own personal disputes/debates/arguments with a player, but rather look at how the player effects the community. An admin would then sniff out the best logical move to keep the community, and the player happy. Banning somebody because of your own beliefs (and I'm sure people have logs of you basing your own beliefs in the matter), is completely immature, and not worthy of being labeled a logical way of thinking, and positively moving the community along (which is what you claim to want to do).

P.S When Yellow would message me when Rage was still new asking to help him get a game going if I wasn't seriously busy I was on it. LOTS of people helped get Rage popular it wasn't the single hand of you Yellow, Its time to get off your high horse and see that you DO NOT make Quakeone.com and you did not make CAX, and no matter how much dust you kick up and how much cussing and bashing you throw at me the point still stands. You are not qualified to be an admin with your current immature mentality.

Baker you said you were "offended" by me saying I run rage. Me running rage is a simple fact. I didn't say I deserve all the credit. In my last post I said it was mostly me who played it and promoted it to begin with, which is also true. If you just want to point at who deserves the most credit in general that would obviously be R00k.

I think this Rage vs. Dredd thing is really getting out of control. Does any of this matter that much?

You both have different points of view and at least some justification for your beliefs. If you will never be happy until Yellow agrees with you, then odds are you will never be happy because he will never agree with you -- and where does that leave you?

Being unhappy because of what someone else doesn't think what you want them too? Who cares, I bet it happens to you in real life all the time. It does to me.

Well, of course. But I think one thing being lost in here is that CAx started with Phenom and Bam working thru 2 months of having a server crash or act up every single day.

That was quite a sacrifice and hard as hell to stick with. Phenom felt like giving up quite frequently and I always told him "stick with it, it will get fixed." You yourself always felt terrible when CAx had a bug that crashed a 14 player game and it didn't happen to you nearly as often as when Phenom and Bam were dealing with it where every single game was imperfect or bugged.

Had he not done what was difficult to do -- no one likes it when their server gets mocked for crashing or having a really bad bug in-game almost every day -- there wouldn't have been anything to load on ca.quakeone.com.

I think is unfair to deny Phenom's role in the success of CAx.

I started shit with QuadRaptor, and we resolved it and were actually pretty cool now, hes an admin at Dredd and hes a damn good one at that.

dm.quakeone.com is pub dm that can easily be setup like ca, tream modes and nextmap options, i'd easily play hook dm with runes and powerups but only if the above settings were quake standard not runequake...
