It's interesting how no one gives credit to the crowd that has shaped the entire "Kimp situation".

It's funny because Jake, Kirx and I are the last three to care about Kimp. You haven't exactly made my Quaking experience the best that it could be either. The difference between you, Kirx, Jake and I is that the three of us know we're just joking around. Everyone in the DM community know each other, and we all respect everyone else.

And please, I think for myself. I've given Kimp plenty of chances. The most recent being a few days ago, last time I played with him. He is supposed to be banned off of Killzone Chicago, but I let him stay because he wasn't disrupting anything. I don't ban anybody without actually seeing them do something wrong. I never have.

on the server side, why has he been let back on killzone chicago? he was on crmod last night. his bans on servers only lasted 48 or so hours? if he is just going to be let back, he will continue to lame games as there is no concequence for his actions.

i hope all server admins continue to ban him as soon as they see him or people vote-admins to ban him. without a concetrated effort, he will continue to linger; therefore, will continue to lame people.

It's not that anyone is letting him back, its that appropriate actions will be required to be rid of kimp. This means bringing proof of flooding / DDoS attacks to his ISP, in theory it will only take a handful of 'repeat' complaints before his internet provider yanks his service


Banning simply doesn't work, especially if he doesn't care if he's surfing at 56k speeds or quaking at 56k speeds with 100+ pings, but thats not even really a reality there are plenty of high throughput proxy's availible. Then its all really down to how determined he is,and obv he is quite more determined than most others. HAH

He's on the server because he's on his Dial-up and there's not an admin at killzone at the moment from what i see. It gets old when your admin and you ban/kick him 200 times in a hour because he just connects right back, leaves, connects right back, gets kicked, connects right back, gets kicked and so on and so on. Everytime he connects to his dial-up, he has a different ip, Kimp was on speaknow this morning rockin a 230 ping. He knows he's banned and I'm sure he's mad but he will still ruin games with his hpb dial-up just to get under everyones skin because he can't play. He's 30 years old going on 12 and needs to grow a set of nuts, man up and act like an adult.

now i am kind of feeling bad for him though. After looking at that site, it seems he may be a just kid or may have the intelligence/mentality of one. if he is mentally challenged, i would feel really bad that he is banned as he doesn't fully understand the ramifications of his actions.

he should be given an iq test. if he gets under 80, he should be unbanned. hmm...nevermind, using that criteria, mass could never get banned from here either
