First a little bit on how the game should be
played, I don't want to sound like I'm taking the fun out of the game
but if you play like this then you and just as importantly the rest
of the people on the server will.
Don't do things you wouldn't like done to you.
This is so simple it's unbelievable; it's even a bloody commandment
for Christ's sake. If you get a little pissed off when a llama is spamming
the respawn you can't really complain if the second you get out you
just go up to the enemy base and do the exact same thing. Other things
that people don't like are :
|
|
- TK's (Team Killers) if you do this on purpose then you don't deserve
to play TFC or games in general, and god help your team mates if you're
in a real army.
- Spamming, its ok to use your nades a lot but 4 normal and 4 concs
just for a sniper in zoom is being stupid, as is throwing a nade round
every corner in case someone is there. Another thing of note are demo
men who pick an area like the bridge in 2fort and constantly throw
pipes at it then when someone walks by BOOM. While it may be argued
that it is a valid tactic, it is so laggy for anyone on a 56K its
as bad as cheating.
- Swearing, now anyone who knows me knows I make Roy Chubby Brown
look well spoken but on a server where swearing is not allowed I can
control myself, and "I can't help it, it just slipped out"
is NOT an excuse, maybe if you are using voice chat but normally you
have to physically type what are some sort of retard or something.
- Llamas, not the kind above but wankers who think they are playing
unreal tournament or something but they dare not play that because
there everyone wants to kill them but in TFC their team mates don't
and so aren't viewed as team mates but, people who wont kill me. You
know who these people are because at the end of a match the say things
like "I win" and "My Cap", the first comment is
particularly bad, it is the same as saying, I did everything, defended
the flag, capped the enemy's and got the highest score, my team mates,
oh they just took all the nades in respawn. More often than not these
people also are on the losing team but because they played sniper
they got the most kills. My cap is not as bad as I win but really
pisses me off, what do you mean your cap, has Valve changed the game,
is it now red scout V red medic, god I'm a n00b I thought it was still
Reds V Blues. Twats the lot of them. Can I ask as a personal favour
that you do all you can to annoy these people, or at least try to
get them to change their ways.
- Snipers, more of a personal one this, but what a pathetic, miserable,
lame arsehole of a class. Only on a handful of maps is having 1 sniper
worthwhile, but on no map is it worth having 6 of your team snipers
and 1 medic. Its pathetic. Sniper Wars are twice as bad, FFS go to
a sniper only server, no wait what's that you don't dare why ever
not, because the snipers there are actually good, oh you can't play
without having something else to preoccupy the attackers.
- Cheats. Enough has been said on this subject to fill a book that
makes the bible look the size of a pre-school picture book, but basically
they suck, fear my haxor skills my ass.
That's it for my little rants
and raves, now into the reason you are reading this in the first place
the guides. To continue click 'Next'.
