Ho Hum.

SteelAngel

Woo Hoo! The TFC Bam page is finished, go see!

I'd like to take the time to mention that The Spy Academy is the oldest Teamfortress/TFC/TF2 spy site on the WWW. I know that it seems that a lot of the tips are geared toward Quake TF, but guess what. Nothing, barring asthetic differences, is different between TF and TFC.

News, Links, and other Junk.

SteelAngel

Hi all! Just wanted to update on what's been going on recently. A few people have complained that I haven't updated the map recon in quite a while. I'm sorry. I have the TFC BaM and Well pics all ready to go, I just need to finish formatting the pages, Nextwish's unexpected re-ordering of the directories left me having to redo all the links. (and since I write these pages in pico..)

I'd like to pimp one of my bestest friends page, Phoenix Hell. Its not FPS gaming related, but it's definitely worth a look.

I now own steelangel.com!!
Don't bother following the link, nothing exists there.. yet.

If you want to _learn_ something, check out this page, dedicated to my current physics Master's degree research.

Have you read Brimstone lately? If not, read it bitch! And mail Sentinel reminding him how much the Spy Academy rocks your world.

Oh yeah. PvP rocks. Read it. Now.

SENTINEL!

SteelAngel

Oh for the name of Pete! I haven't updated in nary a month. But guess what - Sentinel is back! Head over to Brimstone, and see what is up with _the Man_! As always, I toss mad props to Sentinel, 'cause he still owes me 2 Guinesses and a T-shirt for winning his contests way back when. Anyhoo. No major site updates. In fact, no major news. *sigh*..

Ehhh, There

NextWish

I've been out of the loop for a while, hanging more in TFC than updating, anyways I'm back with the results from the last poll and a new look for the Academy!
Over the next couple of days, I will be putting up some more map recon for TFC.
Until then heres I am after some questions for the next poll please send me some.

I suck like a cheap 'ho!

SteelAngel

I screwed up the update I did on the 12th.

Anyway - I added a new spy story. And cleaned up the spy stories section.

'nuff said.

Gren Jumping in TFC

SteelAngel

You can gren jump in TFC! I had said that it was impossible but it isn't. You see, being used to Quake Physics as I am, I thought that simply holding a primed grenade would work to launch you in a gren jump. However this is not so.

You see, Quake damage is non-locational. when you shoot a rocket, or other exploding device, it explodes in a sphere. Half-Life Physics is location specific, therefore, explosions can't throw you if you are in a specific position relative to it's explosion!

Therefore in TFC, look down before performing a gren jump. It's explosion vector will send you flying up, not away from the wall :)

A REAL UPDATE!!

SteelAngel

I've Finally gotten around to doing the first map recon for TFC. 2forts is up. Read it. Learn it. Damn it if it isn't the same fucking level as 2fort5. Blah. Anyway, go see. I'll be putting up Well, and Rock2 in the near future for you TFC guys.

We're having problems with cdrom.com's mirrors. If you told me that you are having problems getting the files on this site, I'm working on that for you!

In other news, Sentinel is gone again. This time, I fear, for good. And 3daemon was such a good idea too. Oh well. I wish Eric "Sentinel" Matthews luck in whatever he does in the future. Peace out, my man - Here's your last props from the old-school TF community!
