I havent really put much effort into playing Quake lately for about 4 months now, actually ever since I bought this LCD monitor with a crappy refresh rate, so until I get a replacement where everything doesn't turn into a huge blur when I spin around I dout i'll be as responsive as I was when I was rockn my old CRT.

Also Quake isn't my priority for this PC, Its main job is photoediting and website development ontop of running an audio server.

That ra hdz server is terrible, I would never play there, not even for a public game. I went there once and my screen was stuttering and I couldn't even go 3 rounds without wanting to uninstall quake.

Nothing says you can't practice with 50/60 ping in advance.
