Also on a side note, dread unbanned him and he was pulling the same shit today just only at the beginning of the round when he was sure no one was watching him.

According to LordHavoc, adding server-side demo recording would be a straightforward process. Quakeworld already has this.

There would be a few issues to work thru, but it would be a nice feature to have in addition to some of the other ideas out there to improve the server.

There wouldn't be anywhere to hide and you could play a server-side demo from anyone's point of view.

I told you I wanted a 2v1 because you aren't worth my time. There's really no doubt in anyone's mind you would lose to me 1v1. Just stop. I don't have time to play everyone with a chip on their shoulder, I do this for fun and not to prove myself, I'm already proven. You are the one with something to prove. You'll get your chance 1v1 once you beat me 2v1 (an actual challenge for me).

Freemove helps watch demos of question so u can see different angles of the "challenge". But to see the pov of all players would be great to get an overall perspective.
BTW most generic aimbots aim at the center of the player's bounding box.

Ziggy! Thanks for your POV demo! It was nice to be able to see round six from both points of view. (round 6) I'm pretty sure it would be difficult to aim at another player (while both in the water) while your eyes are above water (they were for quite a bit of that fight too). Seems like he followed him pretty damn well. P-r-e-tty Fishy if you ask me.

Sorry to inform you, doug is not the only one aimbotting there.

Rambo is also aimbotting.

He toggles, 100 percent.

Yesterday I was shafting at 26-30 percent for the whole night.. and he came in the server..

For 5-6 rounds he was slow, predictable, and easy to kill.
He comes out of water the same mundane routine way and I just shaft him back in repeatedly. After 6 rounds of me killing him, he decided to turn it on, and was completely different. At one point I stated "That was complete bullshit, you're not even the same player right now" and he responded with "I turned music on".. yes, I'm sure it was "music".

His shaft was pinpoint dead on accuracy. He was doing 360 and 180 spins and hitting me with shaft with millisecond reaction time, virtually impossible moves for any person. The night before he had done this as well. I RJ'd from quad door to window stairs, he just finished killing someone and with impossible reaction time turned his body 180 and air shafted me perfectly back to the Quad door. The 180 and 360 turns give it away, you cannot snap turn shaft, its impossible, your mind needs time to assess where a certain player is before you can shaft them.

At one point, I RJ'd over the top of him to the right corner of RL/Water, and i was about to fall behind him in water (he never heard me do this, there were many rockets flying about from people in water). He got out of water onto bridge with his back turned to me, did a 360 spin with light speed timing with his shaft out the entire time and hit me dead on in the corner pinning me.

Furthermore, the difference between him earlier, and between the bot is tremendous. Whenever he was with two or more people in different areas his aim became extremely erratic, the bot didn't know which person to attack and his shaft was flying about from person to person.

In the beginning of the game when he was playing himself, he was RJ'ing around the map and trying to kill people but was getting easily killed. after the 6th straight round in which he died, he suddenly stopped RJ'ing, and was walking around DM3 with his shaft out, he didn't use a single RJ for 3 straight rounds. He was walking from one place to another with only shaft out. The bots are horrible at RL prediction so any place other than water is hard to shoot.

I have no problem making this claim, I've seen it all, I've been playing for too long not to notice. As dot said, the twitching was also evident here, I eyecammed him when he had his shaft out and his pov/weapon was shaking continuously. I also don't see how a player can go from being an RJ'er to walking around the map with one gun out, that is too much confidence for anyone.. especially on spam filled DM3.

I don't like accusing people because it does seem "newbie" and "dumbed down" but when it's the only response certain people have to beating the wall-hack, it becomes obvious.

It's funny because Doug was accused of wallhacking, and yet Basy (Rambo) got caught wall hacking many times on speaknow and rage, the anti-hack comes out, and now the new counter is botting.

You cant cover up erratic aim, Ive noticed on many occasions your shaft flails from one person to another when there are multiple people in the room. No quaker does this, you would try to kill one unless they are both right next to each other, unfortunately yours is waving from one guy to the next even when they are behind and in front of you.

In the game you weren't even in denial, as if you accepted the fact I was calling you out.

The turns you did were complete bullshit, you turn your entire body around and directly shaft at the exact area I'm at.

The one thing that completely convinced me is the style when you got out of water; at the beginning of the game when you got out you didn't shaft as you got out, you simply got out, turned around and got your ass handed to you several rounds in a row. For 3 straight games after that, as soon as your head even bobbed above water you were shafting people on lower and top bridge perfectly without even coming out of water.

The gameplay doesn't lie, its easy to tell when Cata, Spoon, Sting, Tical, and many other quakers are playing naturally. None of these players no matter how good their shaft is are able to turn at high speed and dead pin anyone even when they are unaware where the players are.

Next time I see it, I will definitely demo you and have no problem presenting it as evidence.

Everyone in the server knew. I know 80% of us have cheated at some point and it was just soooo obvious none of us realized to take thorough demos.

A little late on this thread but wtf?! Have some 80% of regulars really cheated?? I'm just getting back into quake after not playing since like '02, and coming back there is alot higher overall talent level. But honestly if cheating is still somewhat prevalent, and many (or even some) of the top players dabble in it, then screw that, I'll play some other game than get raped by players that are already better than me and have other advantages as well. If it's an even playing field, then I'm cool trying to get decent again, clan arena is pretty addictive.

Are there any players out there that just load up proquake without a bunch of other shit and play??
