Rook, I have another small request for ya! Would you be able to add a particle effect for the Hell Knight projectile? It's like the only projectile in the game that still uses the old .mdl file. I believe the model is k_spike.mdl. There is already a nice particle trail behind the projectiles, but the projectiles themselves look rather low-quality.
oh, R00k. funny thing happened the other day. idk if you remember the sof mod..but on the first map..after you finish it, it shows your guy sleeping(more in a dead body position). I then saw that flies were starting to come towards him and it was the funniest thing ever, especially since he was snoring. so does that really work only when models are in their dead position? so if anyone were to ever make a tf server and feign a death, flies would hover over him? LOL!
you know what..this is too funny. I gotta make a video and post it on here.
alright, go there and download the video. its only like 2.1 MB, but oh man its so funny. it makes it look like the guy hasn't showered in a long time haha.
Ah yes that's because the sky polys have been replaced by a sphere that wraps around the entire map. sometimes structures are poked thru, only use-ended workaround is to lower r_farclip value....
adding sky_solid _alpha is fine but usually doesnt look as cool...
would be cool to merge skyboxes and skyscroll imho
do I have to rename sky1_solid and sky1_alpha.tga?
btw, I would rather have those for now instead of having no real farclip and seeing some spinning hamster cage thing. you should make it so that the skyscroll works more like the standard skies..only without the hamster spinner and obviously no wallhacking like stuff. Lol
