It's funny, but botting in RuneQuake isn't all that useful.

Hook skills and map control matter more than aim in RQ.

There are a fair number of players that get caught botting in RQ, but it's always someone who would just like to win a game for once [and they still don't and usually get caught cheating after a few games.]

I have been playing at Shmack every other day, sometimes 9 hours straight - I know what you are thinking - lol - and I have not seen a bot in a very long time, as usual - unless a demo is provided - it is all hogwash.

There are cheaters everywhere, after the anti-wallhack droves of players were gone from CA, which is perhaps even more then at RuneQuake in 2 years worth! LOL!

The fact that those newbs don't cheat has more to do with the fact that most of those newbies couldn't even download winzip in the first place to unzip a cheap.

Actually, what is sad about those newbs is that they rather look how to cheat then learn the game, which is more simpler. And that is the truth.

Someone as stupid as the average runequaker could not install a quake cheat. That is fact. There have been very few that are even able to do it even though I'm sure any single one of them would if they had the chance.

That's why there's more CA'ers that cheat. The IQ in CA is much higher.

This statement is wrong. Slot Zero has an ftp directory somewhere full of demos of bots caught on shmack. I've only seen 1 confirmed bot in CA ever (and it wasn't Doug).

The CA players socialize, interact and IRC more than the RQ players.

This makes them more knowledgeable about Quake in general.

I'm pretty sure more CA players cheat than RQ.

Just think of how many players at Shmack can easily be convinced that someone who is just a couple of levels above average is botting.
